Recent Famous Brand Discussions:
Who is at fault for signing something you don't agree?
Let me tell you my scenario. Let say a salesperson in the counter is selling an XYZ membership. The sales person explains the details about the membership and also that comes with the membership is an XYZ credit card (whatever famous brand name). And having to explain for signing whether they get approve or not, they get some incentives. Few days later, he/she said "I didn't sign up for this XYZ credit card"! On the other hand he/she signed the application form.
The question: Is the salesperson misleading an information to get them to sign because of the "incentives" that caught their attention? Or is it the person signing up fail to read what they are getting into? Let me tell you what the sales person uses in replacement of the word "Credit Card" instead they use Reward Card (which it is), True earning card (which it is), a mileage point card, (in some brand name credit card).
Does the salesperson need to explain more details like the fine print as I believe it is the consumer should be responsible to read thoroughly for what is brought forth to them. Now, if a consumer is being tricked to signing other than a membership and not a credit card...shouldn't you at least read the fine print, read the logos etc...
Tell me your thoughts!

When you were on AOL, did they do this to you or do they still do it?
Remember America Online? or if any of you are on it that is- Like the whole service- you would go somewhere on the net or in a chat room and if somebody clicked the 'report' button on you, they would like BOOT you offline and not allow you to get back on into your account. Then you had to call them up on the phone and 'promise' not to be bad again, even if you really didn't even say nothin bad and somebody got pssed off at you or like aol would investigate it, if you even said the word 'DAMN' you'd get booted off and have to compromise with AOL over the phone to let them even let you get back online.
Is it still like that? Best thing in the world was switch to msn , over aol, i tell ya that much. MSN didn't moniter everything you said/did. , AOL was crazy, like all their services were 'connected' even the chat rooms and they would boot you off for nothin. Like i think three reports you were 'banned' from the service. and had to suffer a penalty for like a period of a month to get online??? BANNED FROM THE WHOLE INTERNET, lol! and one report was like saying the word 'damn' or them tryin to miscontruing something.
Is it still like that? or did they finally pull their head out their a**
